3D Grid on Densely Reinforced Concrete — Rebar Picking and C-Scan Tuning
Description
3D grid acquired on a densely reinforced concrete structure with a GSSI StructureScan XT 2.7 GHz antenna, over a 60 × 60 cm area. The high bar density produces overlapping reflections across the whole grid, with no easy zone to fall back on.
This is what makes it a good training dataset. Picking bars one by one demands care, and the C-scan view is almost unreadable at default settings: the time slice must be adjusted, along with gain and colour range, before the mesh geometry becomes visible.
Working through those parameters in GPRviewer teaches more about C-scan reading than a clean, easy grid ever could.Raw unprocessed files, suitable for rebar picking practice, C-scan parameter training, and testing detection algorithms under demanding conditions.
